Tour stop format & rules.
All tour stops will be double elimination 1 day events. Maximum entries will be up to 32 players, rooms with 16 tables will host the maximum 32 players and rooms with less tables will host a maximum field according to the amount of tables available (12 tables=24 players etc..). Players are encouraged to reserve spots at any tour stop in advance by contacting the tournament director at any particular tour stop, any remaining spots will be filled right up to the players meeting at any stop. All tour stops will have a players meeting and draw at 10:30am and play starts at 11am sharp. Matches will be played to 75 points on both the winners and losers side. The finals will be one game to 125 points.
Matches will have a time limit of 1 and 1/2 hours, with the exception of the finals. Matches reaching the time limit will be put on a 20 second shot clock by the tournament director, once placed on the clock exceeding the shot clock will result in a 1 ball foul to the offending player plus loss of turn.
The rules used on the tour will be the current rules published by the BCA 14.1 standard rules. The tournament director has the final say in any dispute during tournament play.
Cue ball fouls only will be used at all tour stops. Unintentionally moving a ball on the table will not be a foul but the opponent must have a chance to move the ball back to where he/she thought the ball was initially or leave the ball that was moved where it is. If a ball is moved during a shot then your opponent has the right to put it back where he/she thought it was before you shoot your next shot.
There will not be referees at all matches, the tournament director is the head referee, players are expected to play with sportsmanship. All close disputed calls will go to the shooter.
Dress code will be clean shirts and clean non torn pants.
